Massage Modalities

Deep tissue - Designed to relieve tension and alleviate chronic pain. This therapeutic technique uses firm and targeted pressure to promote relaxation and restore your body's natural balance.

Swedish - Designed to ease tension and improve circulation. This gentle technique uses long, flowing strokes to promote a sense of calm well-being.

Sports - Tailored to athletes and active individuals alike. Includes assisted stretches and uses various techniques to improve athletic performance and recovery, targeting specific muscle groups to prevent injuries.

Myofascial release - A hands-on soft tissue technique that involves applying slow, sustained pressure to fascial connective tissue to eliminate pain and restore motion. It targets stiff, restricted areas (trigger points) in the fascia, a web-like tissue that supports the body, to relieve tension.

Craniosacral - A very gentle, non-invasive, hands-on technique that uses light touch (no more than the weight of a nickel) to release tension in the connective tissue surrounding the central nervous system. It aims to promote the movement of fluids around the brain and spinal cord to enhance the body's natural healing abilities.

Maternity - Adapted for pregnant women, typically using gentle Swedish techniques. The focus is on common discomforts of pregnancy, such as back pain, swelling, and muscle tension, while ensuring the safety and comfort of the mother and baby. (Must be past 13 weeks)

ReflexologyA technique that applies pressure to specific points on the feet and hands based on the theory that these "reflex points" correspond to different organs and systems. It is used to promote relaxation and relieve tension.

Hot stone - Heated basalt stones are used to provide relaxation and therapeutic benefits.

Cupping - Involves applying suction cups to the skin. It is used to treat muscle pain, promote healing and improve well-being by increasing blood flow, reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and stimulate the immune system.
